CONCEPTOSPHERE OF THE MENTAL IMAGE OF METAMORPHOSIS IN M.A. BULGAKOV'S NOVEL THE MASTER AND MARGARITA

Abstract

In this article the author examines the mental image of transformation realized in the text of M.A. Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita". This image is presented in the novel through a number of artistic concepts:  "Hypostasis", "Circle", "Death-Life", "Word", "Touch", "Knowledge". In the course of the study the author analyzes the conceptosphere of the phenomenon of transformation as a unit of the plot event of the novel and comes to the conclusion that this mental image participates in the construction of the author's picture of the world and has a complex conceptual structure.
