YOUTH LANGUAGE AND ITS SPECIAL FEATURES

Annotation. Abstract of the scientific article by Dr. Martin Arndt (Germany) and Senior Lecturer Shunaibekova K. M. (Kazakhstan) "Die Jugendsprache und ihre Besonderheiten" German youth slang and its characteristics. This article examines the usage and main characteristics of German youth slang, its key features, and its influence on contemporary German language. Slang is used by various segments of the population, but preferably by representatives of the younger generation: in the student environment, engaged in leisure activities, blogging, etc. Representatives of higher social strata less frequently use youth slang. Youth German slang, with its expressive semantic coloring, enriches the vocabulary of modern German language.
