Abstract

The article discusses the ecological aspects of the composition and application of an organomineral fertilizer based on bottom sediments of lakes in the North Kazakhstan region. A possible solution to the urgent problem of reducing the level of humus and land fertility and, as a result, crop yields is presented through the use of the created Saprolin fertilizer. The composition and properties of this innovative fertilizer, including macro- and microelements (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, etc.), and its environmental safety are described. The methods of applying fertilizers, including pre-sowing seed treatment and foliar top dressing of plants, which contribute to increasing yields and quality characteristics of products, are considered. The results of laboratory and field studies show that Saprolin activates the growth and yield of agricultural crops, minimizes the need for the use of mineral chemical fertilizers. An example of the results of using liquid fertilizer on the variety of oats (Avenasativa L.) "Skakun" is given. It is concluded that the use of this fertilizer is promising for the sustainable development of agriculture, improving environmental safety and introducing green technologies into the agricultural sector.
