Abstract

This article deals with the problem of pollution by industrial zones. General information on the negative impact of industrial emissions. The main focus of the paper is on greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants. The industrial zones' production activities release into the city environment such substances as soot, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, metals and their compounds. Water pollution and solid waste (SW) emissions are also occurring. The main ingredient in industrial emissions is inorganic dust. Information on greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions was provided. Based on the results of the evaluation of the impact of current industrial production, proposed measures to reduce harmful effects on the environment.
