ANALYSIS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE OPERATION OF LANDFILLS OF SOLID HOUSEHOLD WASTE IN In KOKSHETAU

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the environmental consequences of the activities of landfills of solid household waste (MSW) in the city of Kokshetau. The paper considers the main environmental problems associated with the functioning of landfills, including pollution of soil, water resources and atmospheric air, as well as risks to public health. Based on the analysis of pollution in the impact area of the landfill, recommendations for minimizing environmental damage are proposed. The research examines the best practices of waste disposal and the use of environmental protection technologies in urban environments. The results can be used to develop effective MSW management strategies in Kazakhstan and other regions with similar environmental challenges.
