РЕДКИЕ БЕСПОЗВОНОЧНЫЕ ЖИВОТНЫЕ ЗАПАДНО-КАЗАХСТАНСКОЙ ОБЛАСТИ. МАТЕРИАЛЫ К СОЗДАНИЮ РЕГИОНАЛЬНОЙ КРАСНОЙ КНИГИ

Abstract

The high biodiversity of West Kazakhstan region is due to its territorial location in three natural zones and the presence of intrazonal biotopes in the Ural River floodplain. At the same time, the biodiversity of invertebrate animals is often markedly lokalized, requiring special protection measures for each region. We propose the publication of a Red Data Book of the West Kazakhstan region, including 57 species of invertebrates. The list of rare invertebrate animals is compiled taking into account literature and field data on occurrence of species in the region and their inclusion in the Red Data Books - International (IUSN), Red Data Book of Kazakhstan, Red Data Book of Russia and the regions of the Russian Federation, adjacent to West Kazakhstan region. The work of the authors is the first attempt to identify rare species of invertebrates inhabiting the north of West Kazakhstan.
