THE CONCEPT OF «LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE» IN THE PARADIGM OF MODERN SCIENCE

Abstract

The scientific article examines the main problems of studying the concept of «linguistic intelligence» in the space of modern science. The purpose of the study is to identify the features, the formation of the term «linguistic intelligence» and the structure of this phenomenon. Due to the growing influence of globalization and digitalization, the increase in the linguistic potential of the individual has become an urgent problem. Having fundamentally studied this concept, which is an expression of human mental abilities, the main scientific task is realized – the formation and development of linguistic intelligence, the establishment of forms of implementation, the description of basic linguistic operations based on scientific data. The research methodology includes lexicographic analysis, approaches of conceptual differentiation and structural modeling, which make it possible to clearly define the concept of linguistic intelligence. Based on the concepts and observations given by domestic and foreign scientists about the phenomenon under study, its main features were identified. Also, the results of recent studies show the specific features of linguistic intelligence. The presented models and schemes are formed as a result of differentiation of actual scientific evidence. The main conclusions proved that linguistic intelligence currently requires careful study. The study shows the objectivity of obtaining new scientific results by revealing the features of the term. The practical significance of the work is determined by the designation of the problem of its formation and development based on the concept of linguistic intelligence.
