Abstract
Abstract. The article is about the transmission of etiological myths found in Kazakh prose during the years of independence. It provides the features of writing and etiological myths of writers of that time. Nature and life are the source of human imagination. Usually, any myth is based on historical experience, some human experience. Especially in myths, real historical events of the past are listed as pearls and told sequentially. For this reason, mythology will become a tool that no other art can compare with in studying the history of individual peoples. Myths reflect the real life of a people and the relationships between people.
